Rev. Dr. T. Valson Abraham
Founder and President

Rev. Dr. T. Valson Abraham is Founder and President of India Gospel Outreach, an indigenous organization dedicated to planting dynamic churches in each of India's 3,000 castes and tribes. Part of this vision includes planting churches in each of India's 28,000+ zip codes.

Born and reared in India, Valson is the grandson of Pastor K. E. Abraham, founder of India's largest indigenous denomination. He studied at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India. He also studied at West Texas State A&M University and Fuller Theological Seminary. Valson actively preaches and teaches in his native India, the United States, and other countries.

Beginning in 1923, both of Valson's grandfathers (Pastors K. E. Abraham & P. T. Chacko), his father (Pastor T. Stephen Abraham), and Valson have extensively preached, taught and trained others in India, greatly increasing Indian mission awareness and outreach. Through their work, Indian evangelists have planted more than 14,000 churches of various denominations in all states of India. Valson Abraham is actively involved in giving leadership to these churches.

Valson also serves as the President of India Bible College & Seminary where hundreds of students train each year for full-time ministries of church planting. Students from India Bible College & Seminary and other IGO-sponsored training centers dedicate themselves to becoming effective church planters in every state of India.

Since 1990, he provided leadership to hundreds of churches in Punjab and the Northwest Region. In 1992, he founded Punjab Bible College which has produced more that 1300 graduates working in northwest India, Nepal, Bhutan and Canada. From 2006-2013, he served as the General Secretary to his denomination in India. From 2009-2015, he served as Vice President of the Bible Society of India, Kerala State.

For 45 years, his ministry of preaching, teaching, mentoring, writing, broadcasting and servant leadership has blessed thousands in India, USA and around the world. His book The Cinderella Challenge reminds us of the beauty and urgency of the Great Commission.

Valson and his wife Laly have four grown children.
